BIOservicES and SOB4ES held a collaborative workshop to share updates on project progress and identify practical opportunities for joint work on soil biodiversity monitoring and soil health across Europe. The session brought partners together to compare approaches, align stakeholder engagement and communication plans, and explore ways to strengthen impact through shared methodologies, interoperable data systems, and coordinated policy actions.

• Project progress and current status across work packages, including sampling, analyses, climate change experiments, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Stakeholder engagement alignment, combining online and in-person approaches, and exploring regional coordination models.
• Biodiversity analysis collaboration, including ongoing methodology comparison and potential joint publications.
• Economic valuation framework, exploring a shared survey approach to increase sample size and comparability.
• Policy and communication initiatives, including a joint policy brief and opportunities for cross-project campaigns and webinars.
• Technical integration and data interoperability, including discussion of the SOB4ES digital data warehouse and connections with the Soil Community Platform.
